SKATEBOARDING NEWS THIS WEEK
H3ADZ
Harrison Woolgar's latest VX1000 / Sussex project.
Harrison Woolgar is my current favourite English filmer, gaining attention from his full-length, HEADZ, a year ago. He knows how to film a homie video with a vision and a Sony VX1000.
The videos are full of intimate 4:3 angles, seaside grit, rooftop spots and a quality roster. DIggs English has had a growth spurt and kicks this one off strong, ending strong with Evan Johnson wizardry.
The editing, spots, B-roll and soundtracks always give Harrison's projects an artsy English feel; Mixed with the grain of the VX1000, Harrison's videos are my favourite series of skate videos coming out currently.

Volcom - "ALT"
Volcom's French squad travel to Barcelona and Bordeaux
Volcom's French skate team took a trip to Barcelona and Bordeaux, and the future looks bright! Watch a couple of white guys skate to reggae, it goes hard tbf.
I've never heard of Antoine Laurent, Lucien Gourdal and Tom Barthelemy, but they absolutely kill it in this one. The spots are unreal as well, some proper dream spots with a good mix of sketchiness.

Bridge Jumps & Hill Bombs with Andrew Fiene
"I just like skating, bombing , and just jumping off, like fun little cliffs. You know? Nothing crazy.”
"Like if I eat sh*t or not, it'll be a clip regardless”
Thrasher follows Andrew Fiene and his adrenaline junkie activities
Follow Andrew Fiene as he gets a sweat on — from bombing wet, steep hillbombs in LA to hurling himself off a 100-foot bridge into The Bay, how about I just go eat some hay? I can make things out of clay and lay by the bay, I just may. What do you say?

His adrenaline-fuelled stunts are next level, and you’ll get a closer look at what makes him tick in the wild way that he does.

30 Years of Josh Kalis
A celebration of Josh Kalis' 30th year of being a pro skater
DGK celebrate Josh Kalis' 30th year of being a professional skateboarder by working with some of the most iconic artists, photographers and brands that were involved in Josh’s legacy.
Each artist created a DGK Skateboard graphic honouring Kalis, with each model being limited to 200 pieces, Every deck is sealed in a black bag to protect the exclusivity of the graphic, only to be revealed on purchase.
I kind of hate these mystery decks, they're just a way to charge £100 for a deck... We'll let it slide on this occasion, because it's Josh Kalis.
Rassvet Skateboards & Dickies present Igor Smirnov - We're Basic
Igor Smirnov releases an edge lord part for Dickies and Rassvet at the same time!
Igor Smirnov dresses like an emo pirate and does not look like your average Dickies customer. I don't know how he's pulled that one off. He's also dropped the 2 sponsor part combo, work smart... not hard.

The experimental grungey rock tune was a bit boring for me, but the tricks and editing were pretty sick! Pretty interesting colours and contrast on the footage too.

Poeticcollective - Aleksi "Aatsi" Suovaara : WANDER
Aatsi the blunt master drops a part for Poetic Collective
I've been a fan of Aleksi "Aatsi" Suovaara for years, but I've noticed him getting some well-deserved recognition lately. I went into his new Poetic Collective part expecting to see some mad blunt slides and was not disappointed. Aatsi footy is never disappointing to be fair.

Sincerely – Marseille
The 'Sincerely' crew go on another trip, this time visiting Marseille 🇫🇷
The 'Sincerely' crew drop another banger of a project, releasing 6 minutes of footage from the oldest city in France through Free Skate Mag. The squad is quality and the spots are heavenly. The music is pretty chill and this trip looked like a good time 😎
Highlight Clip
Jasper Dohrs in Preduce's "BOOGIE"
Jasper Dohrs does some heavenly nosegrinds on some heavenly Bangkok spots
Jasper Dohrs blesses us with some nuts nosegrinds and wallrides in his new part, a teaser for Preduce's BOOGIE video dropping next week (We'll put it into next weeks blog). Clean, calm and collected, Jasper has an extensive bag of tricks.
The trance tunes are mellow and match well with the skating and 4:3 HD footage. The footage is from a DSLR, which doesn't look as cool as a camcorder, but the footage looks great to be fair. The spots look great too; Bangkok is full of a variety of quality spots scattered everywhere!

THERE Skateboards - Ripped In Half
THERE Skateboards release a 27-minute special
I actually really like THERE Skateboards; they're good vibes. They have a wicked team full of creativity, and it's cool to see a solid crew video with such a unique team.
The video has a wholesome start, turning young gun Poe Pinson pro. She's quirky and has a cool bag of tricks. Her input is well worth the watch 👌 The rest of the video is ace too, there's some shit tunes in there, and some questionable clips... but for the most part, it's a big thumbs up from me. 👍🏻

Alwaysdowhaththeyshoulddo - t@i
2 minutes of Almostdowhattheyshoulddo ledge tekkerz, starring Tai Wepa
Alwaysdowhatyoushoulddo drop 2 minutes of Tai Wepa and friends footage. There are some lovely switch back tails in there and every clip is filmed really well. Although it's only 2 minutes long, they cram a lot of clips in there!
Highlight Clip
The Big Blackpool Push 2025
Jake Powell leads his posse across the Blackpool coastline
Jake Powell & Joseph Packman host a massive event with a massive crew, hitting up some crusty walls and hillbombs from directly outside Blackpool tower to all down the coast. With Shaun Currie on the mic, it's always gonna be a good day. It looked like a right laugh! And some of the skating is top-tier.
