About Last Resort AB

Last Resort AB is an independent skate footwear brand relaunched in 2020 by Pontus Alv, founder of Polar Skate Co, and Mike Halls.

The idea is pretty straightforward - make skate shoes from a skateboarder's point of view, without corporate backing or loads of unnecessary noise around them. The result is footwear with an understated Scandinavian look and a big focus on function.

It's a good fit if you like your skate shoes simple, low-key and actually designed around skating.

Last Resort AB Skate Shoes

Last Resort AB produces a mix of low and high-top skate shoes across its VM and CM ranges, with different constructions depending on the model.

You'll find everything from stripped-back suede and canvas silhouettes to more padded and technical designs. Models such as the VM001 keep things simple with rubber reinforcement hidden between the upper and lining, while the CM range includes cupsole options for anyone after a bit more structure and impact protection.

Check the individual product page for the exact materials and construction, as each Last Resort AB model feels slightly different on foot and on a board.

How Do Last Resort AB Shoes Fit?

Last Resort AB recommends choosing your shoe size based on your actual foot measurement rather than relying completely on size conversions.

For a comfortable fit, measure your foot from heel to toe and look for a shoe measurement approximately 5mm longer than your foot.

Fit can vary slightly between different Last Resort AB models, so we'd always recommend checking the individual size guide before ordering.

Alongside footwear, Last Resort AB produces a changing range of t-shirts, sweatshirts, trousers, jackets, caps and accessories.

The clothing follows the same direction as the shoes - understated graphics, clean branding and pieces that don't need to shout too much.

Last Resort AB softgoods are produced in the same factories as Polar Skate Co, with the brand describing its t-shirts as a regular fit and crewnecks as a wider fit.
