Who Are HUF?

HUF was founded in 2002 by professional skateboarder Keith Hufnagel. Having grown up skating the streets of New York in the 1980s before moving to San Francisco in 1992, Hufnagel opened the original HUF store in San Francisco's Tenderloin district as a home for skateboarding, sneakers and streetwear.

The shop quickly developed a following and HUF began producing its own tees and caps before evolving into a full clothing label. Skateboarding has stayed at the centre of the brand ever since, alongside influences from graffiti, music, art and the wider street culture Hufnagel grew up around.

Our HUF collection brings together a rotating selection of clothing and accessories from the latest drops alongside classic HUF pieces.

Depending on the season, you'll find HUF t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, caps and accessories, with everything from simple logo pieces to louder graphics and limited collaborations. Our current HUF range includes tees, crewnecks, outerwear and headwear.

How Does HUF Clothing Fit?

HUF sizing can vary slightly depending on the piece, with different cuts used across tees, sweatshirts, jackets and trousers.

For most HUF clothing we'd recommend starting with your normal size, then checking the individual product description or size guide if you're after a particularly loose or fitted look. If you're unsure, give us a shout and we'll happily help with sizing.

HUF has always sat somewhere between a skate brand and a wider streetwear label.

Keith Hufnagel's background in New York and San Francisco skateboarding gave the brand its foundations, while influences from hip hop, punk, graffiti, art and streetwear have shaped its look ever since. That crossover is a big part of why HUF has lasted - it still feels at home in a skate shop without being limited to what you wear on a board.
