Hélas Caps & Bucket Hats

The headwear that built the brand, five-panel and sport caps plus bucket hats with the umbrella logo, in that refined smaller European fit. The 'French Lacoste steez' the founders set out to make, perfected over a decade.

Hélas T-Shirts & Long Sleeves

Heavyweight cotton tees and long sleeves with sophisticated graphics, subtle umbrella hits through to playful seasonal artwork, all cut with European proportions.

Hélas Hoodies, Knitwear & Jerseys

Hoods with refined branding, football jersey shirts straight from French sportswear heritage, and the standout pieces of the range, the Coogi-style knit crewnecks nobody else in skateboarding is making. These knits are conversation starters and they do not restock.

Hélas Tracksuits, Shorts & Pants

The Detente tracksuit jacket and bottoms, sport shorts, Dieu Grec jean shorts and surfer pants — European athletic wear traditions bridged into street style, made for wearing together or apart.

Hélas Skateboards Sizing & Fit

Hélas cuts to European proportions, refined rather than baggy, designed to complement instead of swamp. Clothing runs true to size for that tailored European look; if you prefer an oversized fit, go up a size. The caps famously sit smaller and neater than American five-panels, so don't expect a roomy US crown, that's the point.

Buying Hélas FAQs

Where can I buy Hélas in the UK?

Right here at The Vines Supply Co, we stock the Hélas range including caps, tees, hoods, knitwear and tracksuits with fast UK-wide delivery, refreshed every season.

Do Hélas caps run small?

They run neater than American five-panels by design, classic European headwear proportions rather than oversized US crowns. Most heads find them a refined fit; if yours runs large, check the adjuster style on the product page before ordering.

Does Hélas clothing fit true to size?

Yes, true to size with a refined European cut across tees, hoods and tracksuits. Size up if you want the looser streetwear silhouette; stay true for the tailored look the brand intends.

What are the Hélas knit crewnecks like?

Proper statement pieces, Coogi-style patterned knits with real weight and texture, unlike anything else in skate clothing. Wash them cool and flat-dry and they'll last years. They land in small numbers and sell through fast.

Do Hélas drops and collabs sell out?

Reliably, the Adidas Skateboarding and Kappa collabs vanish quickest, with the knits and popular cap colourways close behind. Hélas works in seasonal runs, so once a piece is gone it's usually gone for good.

Is Hélas a proper skate brand or a fashion brand?

Proper skate, founded and still run by Lucas Puig, one of the most technically gifted street skaters ever, with a team including JB Gillet and Max Geronzi. The fashion polish is the style, not the substance.
