☀️ There are Jams galore all over the gaff! ☀️
SKATEBOARDING NEWS THIS WEEK
NOX SKATE - Walsall Arboretum Roadman Jam
NOX SKATE's Annual Walsall Arboretum Jam
NOX Skate is my crew, so I'm obnoxiously putting it first in this weeks blog. We host an easy-going jam at Walsall Arboretum. As usual, it rained in the morning and we had to dry up the park - It was nearly cancelled... as usual!
After a bit of football while the park dried off, it was not spot carnage until the evening. It was a great turn out, everyone looked hard as f*ck, ballied up! 😂🥷🏻🤦🏼♂️ Some absolute bangers went down, we seshed the flat bank, rail, hubba, pyramid and wheeled over a bin and seshed that too! Good times :')
There was some quality cookies from Miccies Biccies, some beers floating about and wholesome vibes. Check NOX's INSTA for the highlights.
Long live the Bo!
Stevie Williams x Eric Koston Beef Continues
Stevie Williams & Eric Koston Clash over the Nike Air Max 95 SB
To market the Nike SB version of the Air Max 95, Nike's latest cash grab 🤑, Eric Koston came out with a pretty corny interview with Nike talking about the Air Max 95's influence in skateboarding and on himself, in which Stevie Williams took offence.
A cheeky bit of old head gossip this week for ya.
One of Toronto's Most Iconic Sets | Classic Toronto Skate Spot Histor
Justin Behan gives you a tour of Toronto's legendary stair sets
Justin Behan, similar to Ted Barrow, is a skate spot guru who collects footage from legendary spots, creating projects to educate you on what's went down. They're the heroes we need but don't deserve.
Even though I've never been to 90% of the places in these videos, they're always so interesting. It's not just about skateboarding, I think it's cool to see an oversight of all the stuff that's happened in one spot. You might be sitting on some ancient sadistic burial ground or something.
ANTIZ SKATEBOARDS - 974
Antiz Skateboards Tour Highlights from LA REUNION
I'd never heard of Antiz Skateboards, they're a small company that can make a damn good skate video. They took a trip to La Reunion, a tropical French island... and it's packed with spots!
The crew definitely had the creative minds needed to take full advantage of the spots at hand. The spots are crazy, the filming is perfect and the tune is relevant. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Vienna Gnarathon 2025
Gnarathon 2025: Vienna's Maddest Skate Event
Gnarathon is Vienna's annual jam, which looks mega fun! The highlights from this year's jam are presented by Pocket Skate Mag.
Gnarathon attracts some very talented skateboarders and, more importantly, builds a wicked atmosphere of stoke and positivity. They got creative with the obstacles and everybody went in! These type of events make memories for life - I wanna go next year 😂
Excellent Hollywood Rose tune too, 10 points if you can tell me what video part used it in 2005.

"TOUR STAR" - A Tour Video by Jenkem for Adidas Skateboarding
A documentary on the Adidas Skateboarding Team
Jenkem bring us a documentary following the Adidas Skateboarding team. I've never really seen anything like this - I guess they're trying to do something kind of similar to King Of The Road.
There's some pretty cool insights - They chat to the team about trips, the filmer's about angles and do a fairly good job of the

THE NINE CLUB CLASSIC 2025 - SANTA MONICA COURTHOUSE STAGE - (FULL CONTEST)
The Nine Club's Santa Monica Courthouse Contest
You probably know the legendary courthouse stage in Santa Monica, California. A bunch of legendary stuff has went down on the tall AF manny pad / ledge.
The Nine Club Podcast held a contest there and it's mental how much stuff goes down! The skill barrier is as high as the manny pad. Andy Anderson was particularly interesting to watch as always.

adidas Skateboarding x Flatspot: 'Superstar Skate Jam' - Brighton
Brighton's Latest Jam, hosted by Flatspot & Adidas Skateboarding
A lot of skate jams & Adidas Skateboarding this week. Any jam with Shaun Currie on the mic is gonna be a good time. It looked like a great time, actually, and it was filmed in 4:3.
Muy bien 👌
Big up the Jam hosts this year, myself included, because there's been so many sick jams in 2025, and there's more to come!. For local readers, Sabbath Wheels 'Black Mass' event is at Fastlands next Sunday and the Wyndley jam is the following Sunday!
STREET RUSH PARIS 2025
Another Jam, This one in Paris, with a Street Twist
Beleive it or not... another jam highlight video! It really is that time of year. Street Rush Vienna 2025 – an official event of the RUSH SERIES, powered by Kape Skateboards.
This one's unique - no rules, no time limits and no scores. However, the most unique part is that it's all street spots. What a sick idea, and it makes the highlights look more like a street project than jam highlights.

CURRENAISSANCE: A Frank Chat With Curren Caples • A Quartersnacks Biographic
Quartersnacks interview Curren Caples
Quartersnacks released a pretty interesting interview with Curren Caples about all the behind the scenes stuff of being a pro skateboarder and his journey becoming one. It's edited pretty well and is an insightful watch. Curren's class at street, transition and even surfing. He's got a good head on his shoulders with golden locks.
