Up front, the forefoot is hand-wrapped in soft climbing rubber for extra grip, and embroidered heel tabs make them easy to slip on and off. Inside, a drop-in EVA midsole cushions the heel on impact but keeps board feel sharp at the forefoot.

What’s the difference between the Village PM 1PM and 1:30PM Shoes?

The 1PM is the full, more “technical” version with climbing-style rubber wrapped almost all the way around the shoe and extra heel pull loops, whereas the 1:30PM tones this down for a more classic, vulc-style look and lighter feel. The 1:30PM still has the rubber rand and precision fit, but with less rubber coverage so it feels closer to a traditional skate shoe underfoot and on the sidewalls. The Village 1.30PM uses a synthetic upper thats somewhere between suede and canvas. Its super durable and lasts for time!

How does the Village 1:30PM fit?

The 1:30PM uses Village PM’s asymmetrical precision fit, meaning it follows the natural, slightly off‑centre shape of your foot and wraps more closely around your toes. Most skaters find it runs true to size but a little snug, so wide‑footed skaters may prefer going up half a size for extra toe box room

Are Village PM 1:30PM shoes good for skating or more for lifestyle?

They’re designed first as a versatile black skate shoe, with a sticky rubber rand around the forefoot, extended lacing for lockdown, and a drop‑in EVA midsole for impact and comfort. The outdoor / streetwear look just means you can comfortably wear them all day off the board as well, but all the key features (toe rubber, boardfeel, impact protection) are built with skating (and climbing) in mind.
