The Village PM 1.00 PM Suede Skate Shoes in Chocolate Brown are a recent skateboard shoe innovation built with Rubber Glove Technology, combining the best of vulcanised, cupsole and toe cap designs into one.

A flexible outsole, protected by a rubber rand make them ready for serious skateboarding abuse whilst remaining grippy. The Asymmetrical Precision Fit naturally contours to your feet, wrapping snugly around the toes without tightness, while Full Foot Lacing helps out with a custom fit to match your foot shape.

Up front, the forefoot is hand-wrapped in soft climbing rubber for extra grip, and embroidered heel tabs make them easy to slip on and off. Inside, a drop-in EVA midsole cushions the heel on impact but keeps board feel sharp at the forefoot. Are Village PM 1PM skate shoes true to size?

Most skaters find the Village 1PM fits mostly true to size, but they can feel snug if you have wide feet. In that case, going up half a size is usually recommended for comfort and toe room.

What makes the Village 1PM different from other skate shoes?

The 1PM uses Village PM’s Rubber Glove-style construction and climbing-inspired rubber rand instead of a standard vulc or cupsole. This gives a mix of strong grip, fast break-in, and high durability, especially around the toe and sidewall.

How is the board feel and impact protection?

The 1PM uses a drop-in EVA midsole that’s thicker under the heel and slimmer toward the forefoot. That means good impact protection for landings at the back of your foot while keeping solid board feel and control under the ball of your foot.

Do Village skate shoes need a long break-in period?

They’re designed to break in quickly compared with most bulky cupsoles. The soft, sticky rubber and asymmetrical precision fit feel snug at first but usually mould to your foot within a session or two of skating.
