For most skaters, yes. DC come up true to size, so go with your usual UK size. The padded tongue and collar give a comfy, secure fit, and if you're between sizes, size up half.


What are the DC Command made from?

The Command has a leather upper with a mesh lining, so it's hard-wearing where it counts and breathable inside. Leather holds up well to grip tape and keeps its shape, making this a durable everyday skate shoe.


What's the cushioning and board feel like?

This is one of DC's more cushioned shoes, with a UNILITE midsole for lightweight support, a 180-degree airbag and an EVA footbed. It sits on an abrasion-resistant sticky rubber outsole with the Pill Pattern tread, so it leans towards comfort and impact protection, great for bigger drops and all-day wear.

How do I look after the black pair?

Wipe the leather with a damp cloth to clean, and use a leather conditioner now and then to stop it drying out. Keep them out of the washing machine and away from direct heat, and air-dry only.
