Bones Reds Precision Skate Bearings 608 8mm in Pack of 8. Bones Reds are skateboardings most popular bearing in the UK, and for good reason. They have a semi-sealed design, removable rubber shields and a high speed nylon ball retainer that keeps you rolling.

Bones Reds Skate Bearings are skateboarding's best known bearings. They have a semi-sealed design, removable rubber shields and a high speed nylon ball retainer that keeps you rolling. The precision ground and polished raceways give you smooth, consistent spin right out of the box, while the deep groove design handles side loads and impacts from street skating without blowing out prematurely. Team them up with some Indy Stage 11's and Spitfire Wheels and you've got the holy trinity of skate hardware.

Bones Reds hit the sweet spot between speed, durability and value, they’re fast enough for park sessions and long pushes, hard wearing enough for daily use, and priced so you can replace them when they eventually wear out without making your bank manager cry. The removable shields make cleaning simple (just rinse and re-lube), and the nylon retainer keeps the balls perfectly spaced for reliable performance session after session. Whether you're setting up a new complete or refreshing your park board, Bones Reds are the benchmark bearing that skate pros and shops trust.

FAQs

Do Bones Reds bearings come pre-lubricated?

Yes, Bones Reds ship factory-lubricated with Bones Speed Cream, so they're fast and smooth straight out of the box with no break-in period needed.

What size are Bones Reds bearings and will they fit my skateboard?

Bones Reds are standard 608 bearings (8mm core, 22mm outer diameter, 7mm width), so they fit all modern skateboard wheels and trucks perfectly.

How do Bones Reds compare to Bones Swiss bearings?

Bones Swiss use higher grade steel and more advanced retainers for maximum speed and durability, while Reds offer 90% of that performance at half the price which is more than good enough for most skaters.

What's included in a pack of Bones Reds bearings?

Each pack contains 8 bearings (one set for a skateboard), plus 8 axle washers and 4 bearing spacers, giving you everything needed for a complete wheel install.

Are Bones Reds bearings good for beginners?

Yeah, they're smooth, reliable and forgiving for learning tricks, but also tough enough to handle progression into street skating without needing replacement all the time.
