About Spitfire Wheels

Spitfire Wheels Brand History

Founded in San Francisco in 1987 as part of Deluxe Distribution, the family that includes Real, Anti-Hero and Thunder, Spitfire put its focus on premium urethane from day one, quickly earning the respect of pros and everyday skaters alike. The unmistakable Bighead flame branding and a string of legendary video parts made the brand impossible to ignore.

The defining leap came with Formula Four: a urethane compound engineered to resist flatspots, hold speed and slide consistently, technology that turned a great wheel brand into the industry benchmark. Today the fire still burns bright as ever, with collabs ranging from fellow Deluxe brands to the Spitfire x Last Resort series we stocked.

Spitfire Skate Team

The Spitfire team is a who's who of modern skateboarding: Ishod Wair, Andrew Reynolds, Guy Mariano, Louie Lopez, Grant Taylor and Mark Gonzales among them, raw street innovators and transition destroyers in one lineup.

It's the breadth that proves the product: Grant Taylor pushing full speed through concrete, Ishod's powerful precision on street, same urethane, every terrain. Spitfire riders are known for speed and flow, and that's no coincidence.
