Dime MTL Brand History
Dime started making noise in the mid-2010s as the Dime Store crew, a group of Montréal locals throwing one of the wildest and most infamous events skateboarding has ever seen: the Dime Glory Challenge. Their videos, full of jokes, outrageous stunts and genuinely sick skating, were a breath of fresh air that reminded everyone not to take themselves too seriously.
As Dime's notoriety grew, so did the apparel line, from limited drops sold out of the old Montréal skate shop to global recognition and collabs with everyone from sportswear giants to cult labels. These days Dime is known for quality garms, tees, hoods and jeans, that transitioned from skatewear to streetwear without anyone batting an eyelid, while keeping the humour fully intact.
