SKATEBOARDING NEWS THIS WEEK
Tom Knox's "Loose Threads" Dickies B-Sides
Tom Knox's 'Honeymoon' Rough Cut for Dickies Skateboarding
London fast-feet champ and father of 4 daughters, Tom Knox, is a smooth operator who loves a long line filmed on fisheye through a crusty London estate. He's been one of my favourite skaters since his part in Isle Skateboards 'Vase'. We're blessed here with his B-Roll footage showing the process of getting footage for Dickies 'Honeymoon' video.
Moss-covered ledges and cracked stair sets - London Street Spots
Assumably accompanied by filmer Jacob Harris as usual, catch a front-row seat to Tom Knox and English street skating.
In the same way that Macba / Spanish spots capture a certain European aesthetic, Jacob Harris and Tom Knox do a great job of capturing the beauty of England's shit spot selection. One man's trash is another man's treasure. So if you're moaning about having no spots in your local area, you're not looking hard enough.

GX1000: Colombia
GX1000 visits Columbia's crusty unique selection of spots
The GX1000 crew take a trip to Columbia, where I'm sure rails are easy to come by 👃🏻❄️. It looked like they were welcomed with open arms by the locals, who all seemed super hyped to see their inclines being surfed.
Sketchy hills and crazy angles
Columbia is full of gnarly hillbombs with a bunch of potholes, quickly sought out by the GX1000 fellas, dodging wild dogs and old motors along the way. They even take on a hillbomb in the pouring down rain, filmed by a Panasonic shielded by an umbrella ☔️.
There are also a lot of night clips from the trip, lit up by LED's, as well as a lot of unique yellow rail spots and red brick stair sets. Like any GX1000 video, the video's a pleasure to watch and filled with adrenaline.

Marius Syvanen for Habitat – Aalto
Marius Syvanen brings us a Habitat part from Finland
After suffering some issues with heart problems and moving from San Diego back to his home turf in Helsinki, Finland, Marius Syvanen brings us a solid part for Habitat Skateboards
Nice backside noseblunts & swirch game
This part is filmed well and everything is executed nicely. My only complaint is that the part lacks a real artistic direction, it seems like a lot of clips just put together. I've said it before and I'll say it again... adding random 16mm B-roll footage doesn't make you cool!
With the bitching out the way, the part's music makes you feel like you're in a dream, and the spot selection is dreamy too, with a rainbow even featuring a cheeky rainbow 🌈. Who knew Finland had such sick spots! Marius treats them to some beautiful back noseblunts and switch manoeuvres

Silver Bullet - Ishod Wair's new Nike SB Air Max
Nike SB Ishod Air Max London trip
Ishod Wair has released a fully silver Air Max for Nike SB. To celebrate and market the shoe, he took a crew down to London and cruised around in a badbox boxey BMW, which a mutual friend ended up buying! (true story, the same one!). The crew hit up Southbank, Stockwell and some London ledges, dropping some hammers over a hyper tune in some silver kicks.

NYC's Most Blown Out Spot
Fusilli Grind talks us through Merriam Playground's history
If you like Gifted Hater, you'll love Fusilli Grind, another YouTuber who nerds out about skateboarding with a comedic, critical approach to skate vidoes.
In this very long video, Fusilli pulls out a spreadsheet and goes through every documented clip that has been done over the years at New York's infamous bank to ledge in Merriam Playground
Nike & Cons' "Good for Tomorrow" Video
Nike & Cons' soulless video with brilliant skating
Nike and Cons... who are owned by Nike, bring out a new video. The roster of skaters is sick, the tricks are even sicker, and the filming is ace as well. My problem with this video is that it just feels like footage slapped together with no real project vision, making the clips feel a little stagnant.
No art style, bad tunes & dull colours
Don't get me wrong, every clip is quality. There are some bangers, starting with a bunch of curb and flat gap bangers behind some weird ambient music. There's no filler—every clip is great—but every tune that follows is awful, and the colours of the majority of the video are grey and dull. It doesn't help that it's filmed by a few different filmers using different cameras, so it doesn't really feel like a project that has an artistic direction.
At least they filmed it well—not like some fancy, pantsy cinematic New Balance videos. Everyone kills it, but it just screams "cooperative skate shoe video."
***POST NUT CLARITY*** (GS PART) (HIGH DEFINITION) [BRONZE56K HARDWARE EXCLUSIVE] {VERY RARE}(2K25)
Bronze 56K bring us some post-nut clarity ‼️
The Bronze 56K team make a comedic 6-minute banger of a team video skating to some tough tunes 😤 Catch some fast-paced fisheye bangers with some bullshit / funny b-roll in between. The video's got bangers and also has some personality... take notes Nike!
PS: They have a remix of 'Only Time' by Enya that goes so hard! 😂
RASSVET PRESENTS AUSTYN GILLETTE - MEMO
Austyn Gillette for Rassvet
Austyn Gillette, the best a man can get!
Austyn is a silky smooth lanky mofucka, and I'm always happy to see him put out a part. The guy gets better with age, he gets more steezy as the years roll on. Remember kids, style matters! He does the best back 180 ever in this part aswell (highlight clip). The filming on this parts awesome and it's sunny and colourful throughout.

DC - New colourway of the Lucien Clarke

A new colourway of Lucien Clarke's DC Pro Model Skate Shoe
Lucien Clarke, London skater's favourite skater, drops a new colourway of his pro model with DC Shoes. The all-white icey colourway is a bit more chill (no pun intended) in comparison to his neon yellow and orange colourways, but still stands out in the crowd. Sick skate shoe!
We'll have these in soon, but check them out here
