SKATEBOARDING NEWS THIS WEEK

First Look... New Balance Numeric Andrew Reynolds 933 Pro Model Skate Shoe

New Balance Numeric Andrew Reynolds 933 Skate Shoe

Leaked product pics of Andrew Reynolds' Pro New Balance Numeric Skate Shoe

After seeing the first look at Andrew Reynolds' pro skate shoe on March's Thrasher Magazine cover, the cat's jumped straight out the hat. Sole Retriever, a sneaker-related news blog type of website have somehow got their hands on product pics of the first 4 colourways of the New Balance Numeric 933 to be released.

Here's the first look! If you want the full story and to see the other colourways, click here.

Jaccuzzi Unlimited welcome Zander Mitchell

Jacuzzi welcomes Zander Mitchell to the team

Born from the ashes of Enjoi Skateboards when everyone and their mother left Dwindle Distribution, Jacuzzi Unlimited is a sick company that has a laid back approach to what they put out, but the skating and personalities are always great!

Zander Mitchell fits in perfectly with his relaxed style and fat bag of tricks. Kevin Calderwood & Erik Fisher got the VX1000's out and introduced him to the team properly. I loved the whacky music and filming in this part just as much as the ledge tekkers.

ROUGH CUT: Deedz "Uneven" Part

Didrik Galasso's "Uneven" Part

2 months ago, Didrik 'Deedz' Galasso dropped his 'uneven' part featuring some of the most aesthetically pleasing, hard-to-skate spots that Europe has to offer.

I wasn't the biggest Deedz fan, but this part won me over. The thought behind trick and spot selection makes it a unique part.

In this part, Deedz holds onto one of the coolest curved crooked grinds ever and does a drop-down front noseblunt that is bananas. He tackles his fair share of petrifying rails in this part, so has earned his hype.

Deedz' Rough Cut

Watch the process Deedz undertakes as he battles for tricks for the part. Rough cuts might just be my favourite skate media. They allow clips that are unfathomable to be made more humane by allowing the everyday Joe to see the full process.

This one's especially relatable to us English skaters, as every spot is mega crusty!

Day Rip: Tulare 2025

Thrasher in Tulare, California

Cody Chapman, Grant Taylor, Rowan Zorilla and Elijah Berle are some of the names on the heavy roster in this one.

With a heavy line-up, this episode of Thrasher Magazine's 'Day Rip' series features some absolute carnage in and out of the bowl. The bowl skatings epic and the crew let the good times roll. Fast-paced transition skating madness from start to finish.

Proper Thrasher video 💪

Debris-Sides episode 02 (East Sussex)

Tom Pickard's 'Debris' Video

Another great rough-cut from Tom Pickard's "Debris' Video, which was released 3 months ago. In last week's blog, we covered his first episode in West Sussex, but this second episode is based in East Sussex. Great raw British skating. Proper geeza British spots 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍻

See the crew battle for some banging clips down in the southeast 🇬🇧 With these spots, you really have to make it happen, which these lads do superbly. 💪 There were a few clips where I doubted if they could make it happen and was proven wrong.

Opera Skateboards - Liam LeFranc "NOOPI"

Opera Skateboard's Liam LeFranc's New Part

Liam LeFranc travelled far and wide for his new Opera Skateboards part, travelling from France to Miami, LA and throughout Europe, finding a raw mix of spots and terrain.

I love the really distorted high vignette fish-eye footy, but I hate the 8mm / super 8 film b-roll footy. The skating's great and there is a hard af harmonica solo. No more needs to be said

Tom Penny Bless The Lord | Winkle Tv

Tom Penny at Macba doing Frontside Flips

Hear Tom Penny's soothing bassy voice as he high fives 400 people at Macba. Watch some legendary frontside flips and switch frontside flips go down with ease by Tom.

Seriously, Tom Penny is like a mythical creature. If you're newer generation and don't qute understand why Tom Penny has a cult following, do your research!

COME ON SWEET

A Very Solid Ledge Performance

Javi FiorettoMarc Diaz and Victor Marin star in Roberto Marcelli's latest project, which involves some clean tech skating on Spanish ledges... I assume. It couldn't look more Spanish if it tried. Well, if it's not Spain, I'm going to look silly now 🇪🇸

Peculiar Music, Clean Switch Back Tail

I actually love the music. It sounds primal. I feel primal. The clean factor is high, very well-executed ledge stormers throughout. Fair play, gentlemen.

Nice job on the filming and editing Roberto Marcelli! I reckon these guys should make a video in 4:3, VX or HD (With spacer rings). That's my request.

Neema - if u kno

if u kno by Neema Joorabchi

Neema Joorabchi's latest project, 'if u kno', showasing Isaac White & Jasper Stieve.

Isaac has some sick long back smiths in this video and picked some crazy spots to skate. Jasper backs him up with a wide selection of ledge to manual tricks and tech ledge skating. Overall, a nice performance from these two, filmed well by Neema Joorabchi.

What I can moan about is how much roll up and roll away is in this video; it could have been 5 minutes long! Also, I like all 3 of the music tracks, but it’s too slow and boring for this one. Some R&B-hip-hop or something that bumps would have suited this video well. However, the filming and level of skating allows all to be forgiven, I'll stop moaning.

Clash of the Crews 2025 presented by Vans

The 12th annual Clash of the Crews took place at Skatepark of Tampa

Watch the chaos unfold atSkatepark of Tampa during their Clash of the Crews event. Skate shops clash and it looked like a good day out. I love any event where boards are flying around and someones trying to jump off a roof.

Unfortunately, the guys presenting this video are corny as fuck and the whole video template is a bit too vlog like for my liking. The music also sucks balls. But big up the Skatepark of Tampa for being an anchor for the scene for so many years.
