Owned by Australian skateboarder Shane O'Neill, April Skateboards was teased after Shane's departure from Primitive Skateboards. The company did not disappoint when they released their debut promo video, 'Introducing April Skateboards' and their first ranges of bright, simplistic board graphics.

The team features worldclass riders including Shane O'Neill, Yuto Horigome, Ish Cepeda and Kai Kishi. The company wasted no time in making Olympic gold medalist Yuto Horigome their second professional rider, after Shane himself.
