SKATEBOARDING NEWS THIS WEEK
Butter Goods - Miles Davis
Skateboarding and Jazz are always a good combo
Jazz is incorporated into the roots of Australian skate brand Butter Goods, and everyone loves a bit of Miles Davis. If you somehow don't know who Miles Davis is: Miles Davis was one of the most important and influential figures in the history of music — not just jazz, but music in general. He was a trumpeter, bandleader, and composer whose career spanned from the 1940s all the way into the early 1990s. 🎺 Butter pay homage to him with this one, featuring the likes of Dougie George, Adilson Pedro and Ben Gore. 🔥
Butter Goods have a great skate video format
Butter have a really cool aesthetic in their projects, filming 4:3 footage on a grainy camera, featuring some cool night clips where they light up whatever part of the city is necessary. The video is a ledge masterclass, with all tricks synced up nicely to the jazz . Adilson Pedro reminds us why he's the king of heelflip crooked grinds wearing a full camo outfit- like the tracksuit version of Captain Price's ghillie suit.
As much as I enjoyed the urban B-roll showing the scenes of the city, I do have to say there were a few too many B-roll shots, this video could have easily been 2 minutes shorter.

Pat Coghlan – Glow Worm Part
Pat Coghlan is weird and wonderful
Rocking the worst fits you've ever seen in your life, including a I <3 London wife beater, Pat Coghlan has an awful hair do to match. Skating to a weird country tune about doing cocaine, Pat brings us a unique trick selection filled with foot plants and wallies after 40 seconds of boring bails. He's so hatable that you love him.
Highlight Clip
Joe Poulter - Glow Worm
Joe Poulter's 15 minute project 'Glow Worm'
The day after reviewing Pat Coghlan's part, the full video was released on Joe Poulter's YouTube channel 😂
I love the art style of the video, it's filled with creative characters and chaos, whilst keeping to it's weird aesthetic that remains present throughout the video. The soundtrack is as weird as the skaters. The camera work and editing is magnificent, but the colours get weird at times, it's almost like the video's glowing. I think the look is intentional and goes with the name of the video.
To put it in short, this video has personality and is 100% worth a watch 💪

Tampa Pro 2025: Sora Shirai's Winning Run
Sora Shirai wins Tampa Pro
I have never heard of Sora Shirai and I'd bet you haven't either. The 17-year-old Japanese kid comes in with... not the most entertaining winning Tampa line in all honesty, but a solid one nonetheless! Featuring a sick full-cap flip lip and a LA Dodgers jersey, he looks like the next Japanese wonderkid to come through... but who is he pro for?
KADERING (PDX,NYC,PHL)
2 weeks of Kader footage
Kader Sylla drops a 10-minute mash-up part with some footage he collected in Pheonix, New York City and Philadelphia, skating a good mix of handrails and transition, as well as a switch nose manual with a spliff in his mouth.
Bloody hell Kader, why can't you be the slap head golden child on Baker and Vans?! Making me feel old. He's all grown up and gangster now, everyone thinks you're soooooo cool.
New Supreme skate video in Miami?
All jokes aside, Kader is cool. It's good to see him releasing a bunch of footage, even though it's got a bunch of random stuff in between, like him getting a tattoo or playing golf. I'm sure some people care about how kwl Kader is but I just wanna see him do a kickflip or something you know?
Anyway, it's not a part, just a vlog-type video so I'm not mad. He teased in the video description that Supreme are releasing a video in Miami, so look forward to that.

Smelling Salts game of SKATE
DaBoyz have a painful game of skate
I'm sorry DaBoyz, you usually wouldn't of usually made the blog, but this week's been slow on the skate video front, so if you run out of substantial skateboarding to watch this week, here's a bunch of friends sniffing an unholy amount of smelling salts for your entertainment.
Hardest Good - ZANDER
Zander brings us 2 & a half minutes of bangers
Hardest Goods brings us a couple of minutes of ledge and gap bangers. They go from 4:3 to 16:9, the ultimate sin! But nevermind, Zander drop some hammers, no music, just a mash up of clips.
PALACE DR. MARTENS 1461
Palace Skateboards team up with Dr Martin's Boots
The latest pointless collaboration that Palace Skateboards are doing, which has nothing to do with skateboarding, is Dr Martin Boots. This money grab is pretty cool and the advert is quality to be fair. There are a few different colours of the collaboration style boot, they look pretty sick (Pun intended). Enjoy it hype beasts.
The Set Up: Mike Anderson
Mike Anderson's backyard tour
Have you ever wondered what Mike Anderson's back yard looks like? Your wish has been granted. Mike, the Krooked Skateboards pro, has a bunch of farm animals and a sick skatepark behind his gaff. He's living the bloody dream.
Eniz and friends – Kamppi
Eniz Fazliov, Harry Lintell, Ville Kirves and Victor ''Doobie'' Pellegrin in Finland
Eniz Fazliov, Harry Lintell, Ville Kirves and Victor ''Doobie'' Pellegrin make a video filmed by Tobbe Tiusanen in Kamppi, Helsinki 🇫🇮. FInland spots look awesome man, unique, sunny and smooth. The boys handle them perfectly, behind a weird but cool tune. I still think Doobie is a bit of a neek though.
