SKATEBOARDING NEWS THIS WEEK

POLAR SKATE CO. - I Don't Even Know How To F****ing Airwalk

I love Polar Videos

Since 2022, Polar has dropped 'Sounds Like you Guys Are Crushing It' & 'Everything is Nomal'; 2 absolutely banging videos I've watched at least half a dozen times each. So I was gassed to see them release another 25-minute video only 5 months after the last.

'I Don't Even Know How To F****ing Airwalk' is another banger I'll be watching repeatedly. The editing, crew and vibe of the video are nothing but ace! It's one of those videos which makes you want to go skate something scary.

Emile Laurent is an Absolute Beast

The video kicks off with Emile Laurent dropping in on a straight-up massive wall (little ground high five but we'll let him off). He's just turned pro for Polar, showcasing himself with some obscure behaviour and several faces that make him look like a gremlin on loads of cocaine. He's incredible. He does a boneless front 3 followed by a bigger boneless front 3 😂 If he's not one of your favourites, watch this and he will be.

The Rest of the Polar Skate Co. Crew Kill it too

There is some mad spot selection in the video, including some wicked wallrides and crazy bank spots. Spots that require creativity and danger. You know, the usual Polar video experience. Everything's massive!.

Nick Boserio is being an Australian Nutter as always, going rapid and blasting heelflips bigger than your Mom's Christmas Tree that she put up in November. Oski's got some footage in Brixton. Dylan Mills has some amazing footage and is still looking majestic as fuck with his ginger locks and ledge tech. Paul Grund does the sexiest backside flip I've ever seen. The list goes on.

Watch it 💪

Dime Mtl's Glory Video

Watch out for Dime MTL's new video dropping on on Saturday 30th November. We'll be reviewing it in next week's blog, so stay tuned for that!

Dime's one of our favourite and most popular brands. They have such a respected and bulletproof reputation, so I'm sure this one's gonna be a gem.

3 Years in the making, 30 minutes of pain. Thank God it’s over 🙏 - Dime

Kai Kishi - April skateboards "On the rise"

April Skateboards Latest Pro

Kai Kishi, the young Japanese ledge killer, has just turned pro for April Skateboards, alongside Japanese try-hard Yuto Horigome 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵.

Ledge Tekkers

Kai Kishi has some fast feet, repping Adidas Skateboarding creps on 'em! He packs some mad combos into this 3 minute part, with some mirrored ledge tricks, which is always tasteful.

The filming on April videos is always mint, high quality 4:3 fisheye footy. I love it. But it's on a Lumix Gh5 with a normal camera body, not shaped like a camcorder... Looks weird. The footage looks ace, big up Junktown (unfortunate name).
Shame about the music though, it's pretty dreadful, but the beats kinda hard at times.

PASS~PORT - "WHIMSICAL" - FINLAND TOUR

Pass~Port in Finland 🦌🌲🇫🇮

The Pass~Port crew take a trip to Finland, the worlds happiest country 😊 They equal out the happiness with some excessive creepy Cabin-in-the-woods style b-roll shots 🙃 The skatings great, and although a little much, I always enjoy the artistic vision Pass~Port have. Well done to the Aussies.

Dim, Interesting and Eerie Spots

Watch the likes of Josh PallMatthieu Lucas D'SouzaAlex "Tenny" TennisonEetu ToropainenSimon Zuzic & Raph Langslow take on some weird, dim, blue-tinted Finish spots.

Adidas Skateboardings - BUILD - Manchester Trip

Adidas's BUILD project

Adidas Skateboarding’s BUILD project aimed to bring creativity and life to local skate scenes by transforming neglected spaces into skateable art. By collaborating with local skaters, artists, and communities, BUILD revitalised urban areas with sustainable, functional designs.

Check out the Adidas BUILD video here.

Adidas Skateboarding in the UK

As part of the BUILD project, the Adidas Skateboarding crew visited the gritty, wet UK for a week.

They blessed Manny with a fresh skate plaza in the heart of Manchester. Check out the plaza, Manchester streets and the Adidas team bringing the heat, captured by William and Michael Boardman and polished to perfection by Torsten Frank.

Who's in it?

It features 3-stripers such as Jarrad Carlin, Dan Fisher-Eustance, Nikolai Piombino, Tom Snape, Vitória Mendonça, Sam Narvaez, and Gabriel Summers.

A 11 Minute Video from Leon Moss

Leon Moss gives us a great 11-minute project on Free Skate Mag's YouTube, featuring a god-awful soundtrack (I know the youth will like it) and some funky filming, with a crew with some funky haircuts. It looked like a great time filming this with the crew.

Although I'm roasting Leon's music choices for this video (including a remix of Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis), Leon smashed it on the filming, with just the right amount of closeness and zoom-ins. The spot selection is wicked & it makes you wanna call up your boys & girls and make the homie video that's been on hold for too long.

Who's in ╭∩╮(-_-)╭∩╮?

No clue! Haven't heard of any of them. It features Andrey Yanevski (he has the funkiest haircut of all), Yannick Zhoufinley, Stewartetienne Châtelainlukas, Garmax Obert and more. No wonder I don't know 'em, I can't find a trace of most online, but they look like a good set of homies!
