The New Balance Numeric 933
Andrew Reynolds, Owner of Baker Skateboards, has been getting hooked up with skate shoes by New Balance since December 2022. With a legendary status, it was almost instantly expected that a Reynolds pro model was on the way, but as we know in reality, shit just dont happen that quick.
Since then, he's had 2 sick guest colourways of the New Balance Numeric 480 that have sold out for us almost instantaneously. With this in mind, lets look forward to the release of his all new, custom designed pro model - the New Balance 933...
Since then, rumours and whispers of The Boss's pro model have been commonplace across skate shops worldwide. Well, New Balance unofficially revealed Andrew's pro New Balance 933 when Andrew landed the cover of Thrasher Magazine - March 2025.

While his kickflip wallride is undoubtedly poetry in motion, the reveal of Reynolds' signature shoes truly stole the spotlight—sending skaters worldwide into deep conversation.
When you zoom into the kickflip wallride cover, you can make out how the features of the original New Balance 993 have been transformed into a new low-top skate shoe, as the panelling and N logo almost appear identical to the heritage Made in USA silhouette. It'll be interesting to see how this construction is leant to the New Balance 933.
New Balance's Teaser Video
Shortly after the Thrasher cover, New Balance released a teaser video, revealing the number of the pro model, the 933 on their Instagram page.
Theres been plenty of cryptic hints towards the release of the New Balance 933, with the New Balance 'Grey Days' series showing the Boss in a running race, referencing the running shoe heritage behind his new model.

The New Balance Numeric 933 has been leaked online, and in 4 different colourways!
After nearly three years of hype, the wait is finally over! Andrew Reynold's pro model has been leaked online. In regard to the dog on the shoe... your guess is as good as ours!
Here are the 4 colourways of the New Balance Numeric 933 due to release in Summer/Autumn this year:

The Numeric 933 takes inspiration from New Balance's Running line
Straight off the bat, it’s clear that the New Balance Numeric Andrew Reynolds 933 takes heavy inspiration from New Balance’s legendary running shoes. But with skateboarding in mind, the numeric version of the 933 will feature impact protection inside its tooling setup by incorporating NB’s Abzorb cushion.
The multi-panelled upper and old-school runner-style toe ooze classic ‘90s vibes. With a name like 933, it’s safe to assume Reynolds has drawn influence from the iconic 990 series, meaning we’re likely to see some of that high-performance running tech reworked for skateboarding—along with a price tag to match.
One of the biggest giveaways is the sole. It looks almost identical to the New Balance 993, featuring a cupsole construction that’s thinner at the toe for better board feel and thicker at the heel for extra impact protection, exactly as it should be. The stacked heel design is also reminiscent of the 993’s Abzorb DTS cushioning, suggesting that the Andrew Reynolds 933 could be one of the most comfortable New Balance Numeric shoes to date.
Another interesting detail? There’s a sneaky green blob near the heel—something you might recognise from models like the Tiago 1010 . This could mean the Andrew Reynolds 933 includes New Balance’s FuelCell midsole for added cushioning and support—or maybe even a brand-new tech upgrade designed for peak skate performance.
Whatever the technology and details, what is known for sure is that the New Balance 933 shoe has been highly anticipated and will be picked up by plenty of skateboarders and sneakerheads alike.

New Balance 933 Hype
Its hard to say just how sought after the New Balance 933 will be. Currently the best selling NB# styles are the 360 and the 480 which are obviously a much less technical (and therefore lower pricepoint) skate shoe.
At an expected £120 retail, it'll be near enough the most expensive skate shoe on the market. Even with all the of expected tech incorporated into the New Balance 933, how many broke ass skaters are gonna be dropping that kind of p on skate creps? I suppose only time will tell, watch this space.
Regardless of finales sales, one things for sure when it comes to the New Balance 933, its gonna be the most hyped shoe of 2025 in terms media and market coverage, and it'll be a lot easier to come by than the Nike SB Jordan 4.
We all love Andrew Reynolds, so I cant see how everyone wont love his New Balance 933 pro model shoe. Its looks sick, its backed by the boss so the only thing left now is to see if they skate good too. Launches in April, so not too long to find out, stay tuned.
